Day 1: arrival in Cairo

Day 2: pyramids of guiza and the sphinx

Day3:Embarkation the cruise – High Dam of Aswan – Unfinished Obelisk – Temple of Philae.

Day 4: Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu.

Day 5: Temples of Karnak and Luxor.

Day 6: Disembarkation – Valley of the Kings – Deir El Bahari (hatshebsout) – Colossi of Memnon  – return to Cairo. – Return to your country.

What To Expect

Day 1: Cairo

CAIRO Arrival at the Cairo International Airport. Assistance by our coordinator in the airport- transfer to hotel – check in.

Day 2: Cairo

Day destined to make the visit of the pyramids. One of the seven wonders of the world (keops, kefren, micerinos and the sphinx). With the explanation of the guide, a panoramic view on the pyramids and the possibility to mount the camel. Possibility to make optional visit to the Pharaonic art museum in the afternoon and the show of light and sound at night).

Day 3: Aswan

Breakfast at the hotel and at the privy hour departure to the airport with our representative’s assent and flight to aswan (this flight is not included). Transfer for a tour of the Aswan High Dam, built in the year 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual flooding of the Nile River.    Visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, famous for its red granite. Most famous that this obelisk is due to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the kings who ruled Egypt in the XVIII dynasty, wife of King Tuthmosis II and first woman in the whole history of Egypt who ruled the country. Others think that this obelisk is due to Queen Nefertiti, wife of Akhenaten.  Excursion to visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and located on the Island of Filé, eleven kilometers from Aswan. Transfer to the food and boarding cruise. Free afternoon (optional, the falucas or the Nubian settlement) … Dinner and accommodation on board.

Day 4: Aswan

Breakfast on board. Possibility (optional) very early to visit the wonderfulabu simbel temples (RAMSES EL SEGUNDO and Nefertari) -back to aswan Sail to Kom Ombo Excursion to visit the Sobek Temple, an unusual building, completely symmetrical, with two entrances , two hypostyle rooms and two sanctuaries. This is because it is dedicated to two gods: the left side to the hawk god Haroeris (Horus the old or the great) and the right to Sobek, a local divinity with the head of a crocodile. Lunch on board

Day 5: Luxor

Transfer carriage to visit the Temple of Horus, dedicated to Horus, is the best preserved of Egypt and was called Mesen, “The place of the harpoon”, “The House of Ra”. Sail to Luxor Lunch on board. Visit to the Luxor Temple that was made during the New Kingdom. It was attached tothe Karnak temple by an avenue (dromos) flanked by sphinxes. It was built by two pharaohs fundamentally, Amenhotep III (built the interior zone) and Ramses II, who finished the temple.  Excursion to visit the Temple of Karnak, in ancient Egypt especially during the New Kingdom, was the most influential religious center. The main temple was dedicated to the worship of the god Amon, but as in other Egyptian temples other divinities were also worshiped. Dinner and accommodation on board.

Day 6: Cairo

that it was the place, during the New Kingdom, where the pharaohs were buried, in hypogea. Herethe kings of the XVIII, XIX and XX dynasties were buried, as well as some queens, princes, nobles and even animals.  Transfer for a tour of the Temple of Hatshepsut, the unique temple of Queen Hatshepsut (XVIII dynasty), the most monumental of those built in the valley and unique in its kind throughout Egypt.  Excursion to visitthe Colossi of Memnon which are two giant stone statues that represent the pharaoh Amenhotep III located on the west bank of the Nile, and south of the great Theban necropolis. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport flight to Cairo (the flight is not included) .. and flight to return to your country.
